Answers to what most guests ask before booking a stay with us.

Is this a real place? Why can't I find any information?

Yes, we are the island of Loh's only accommodation! Loh is an extremely remote island without wifi, cell service, or electricity, so you will not find any other business listings or information online.

How do I get here?

The only standard, commercially available way to reach the island is by booking a series of flights from Port Vila > Santo > Sola > Loh through Air Vanuatu. These flights depart & return every Friday, so unless you can find alternate or private arrangements, your stay will likely be one week, Friday to Friday. If you have any trouble booking flights or arranging travel, please contact our agent on WhatsApp, who can walk you through the itinerary. Note: Torres is extremely remote, even for Ni-Van people, so the Air Vanuatu agents from Port Vila might themselves not fully understand how to get here — but we assure you it IS possible and it IS worth it!

How can I pay?

The Torres Islands are 100% cash based, so we only accept cash. We can help you budget how much cash to bring depending on what activities you'd like to do while on the island.

What is there to do?

The bungalow is located 100 feet from 2 pristine beaches with hammocks. We recommend spending time swimming, relaxing, and reading. We also offer a range of tours & guided activities — see our Activities page for the full list.

What amenities should I expect?

This is a remote, traditional village. There is no running water (or shower), there is no electricity, accommodations are basic, and there is no cell service/wifi.

What can I expect for meals?

Breakfast, lunch & dinner are included in your stay. Meals typically include fish/crab with rice and local root vegetables. We can also buy chickens and eggs from the neighboring island — everything is organic, free range, GMO free, and farm-to-fork. 😉
