About the Bungalows

Two thatched-roof bungalows among palm trees

Twin Beach Bungalow is the only homestay in the Torres Islands, the most remote island group in all of Vanuatu. It is situated on Loh Island, which is inhabited by roughly 100 households of ni-Vanuatu people (indigenous people of Vanuatu). We have 3 bungalows and can accommodate a total of 6 people, and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

About Me

Joseph Towia, host of Twin Beach Bungalows

My name is Joseph Towia. I was born and raised in Loh and have lived here most of my life with my wife Mary (who is from the neighboring island Hue and will prepare your meals), my son Stephan (who will be your tour guide for some activities), my 5 children, and 8 grandchildren. As our village's tourism and conservation lead, I look forward to sharing my knowledge of our local culture, traditions, history, and nature — much of which is unique and endemic to the Torres Island group.
